Asiad Daily是由中国日报承办的杭州亚运会官方英语会刊，记录了亚运会的赛事热点，也承担着亚运期间中国文化输出的重任。其内容紧跟时事热点，语言地道准确，适合学生阅读学习。《义务教育英语课程标准》（2022年版）明确提出英语课程需要学生掌握的文化知识包括中外大型体育赛事的项目名称、事实信息、历史发展、优秀人物及其传递的体育精神。通过本课程的学习，学生能积累更多体育赛事的相关英语表达，也提升了英文报刊的阅读能力。同时通过学习亚运健儿的拼搏精神，增加文化自信和民族自豪感。
